**Learner Success Associate (LSA)
As part of Generation Singapore, the Learner Success Associate will join a fast-paced, collaborative team dedicated to creating impact for jobseekers in Singapore. The LSA would report directly to the Programme Manager and collaborate closely with the other teams to create impact in the lives of the Generation learners.
The LSA would be responsible for executing the Learner Engagement strategies for tech cohorts (up to 3 cohorts a time), including the following tasks:
1. Responsible for learner well-being; manage all learner-facing communication and offer ongoing support to troubleshoot key learner concerns
2. Plan and execute co-curricular activities throughout the program (Eg: programme orientation, graduation, learner well-being events etc.)
3. Maintain and report learner-related data using Generation data processes and systems
**Key responsibilities:
**1) **Learner well-being**
a. Align on the end-to-end Learner Engagement strategy with the Community Manager and maintain the updates of the corresponding data tracking for a program
b. Collaborate with the PM and prepare learner communication and instance management plan for every cohort
c. Establish a warm and supportive relationship with every learner through formal and informal touchpoints (Eg: GenConnect sessions, lunch with learners etc.)
d. Lead the troubleshooting of learner concerns and issues, and escalate where required to the all the relevant internal stakeholders
e. Encourage peer-support among learners to resolve common concerns, and connect them with the larger Generation alumni community where required
**2) **Co-curricular activities**
a. Collaborate with the PM and prepare the co-curricular activities calendar for every cohort (aligned with the broader Learner Engagement strategy)
b. Prepare and execute key activities such as Orientation to Generation sessions, placement orientation, mentorship introduction, employer-learner matching process and employer networking (collaborate with the Programme Manager to align on key messages and outcomes for each activity)
**3) **Data and reporting**
a. Maintain all learner data for select cohorts in standard format on Generation-Salesforce portal and other ongoing platforms
b. Regularly update the data systems with latest information on learners (up to 6 months from graduation) and provide on-demand reports on learner progress
c. Provide Community Engagement Manager with the learner facing data and insights and support in conducting the learner engagement review for every cohort
Additionally, the LSA may need to take on ad-hoc responsibilities delegated by the Country Operations Lead, typically related to learner-facing work or general coordination of programme specific activities/events.
**Technical Skills and Competencies**:
- An extrovert who enjoys working with people and has a passion for supporting jobseekers of all ages to get a job
- Prior experience in customer service, hospitality, student management, career counselling will be preferred
- An excellent communicator and can customise her/his communication to a diverse learner group
- Have the ability to remain calm in adverse situations, and can prioritise learner interest and well-being above all
- Comfortable with speaking to a large group of learners, and making ad-hoc presentations to explain complex messages to learners in a simple way
- Detail-oriented and a taskmaster mindset to plan and execute learner-facing activities effectively
- Comfortable to work on digital tools such as PPT and Excel (open to taking additional trainings for tools like Salesforce)
- A self-starter who takes end-to-end ownership of tasks assigned; open to asking for help where required and can collaborate extensively across the organisation
**Qualification**:
Open to all education qualifications if you match the competencies mentioned above, No prior work experience required in this field.
