We are looking for a go-getting, creative and experienced Commercial Manager -to join our wonderful Commercial Team in Singapore.
**The main objective of this role is to drive strategic business development of new and existing destination partnerships and maximize value of existing partnerships within the APAC region.**
Skyscanner is determined to create local, Regional and Global destination partnerships which ultimately create value for our Traveler's as well as trust in our Partner's and Skyscanner. You must be experienced in a consultative, solution-led, sales approach which establishes long term valuable relationships in the marketplace. You must be able to create a high-value pipeline which results in onboarding new key-brand wins for Skyscanner.
**Main Responsibilities**
- Becoming an expert in pitching Skyscanner's brand and content offering to prospects in your geographical patch, navigating business objections and getting to the right decision makers
- Proactively pursuing and securing new business, then developing and nurturing those relationships to supporting ongoing business objectives
- Nurture business opportunities and cultivate meaningful relationships with clients to gain deep insight into their strategy, business and marketing objectives
- Developing effective digital advertising solutions - that position Skyscanner as a trusted, strategic partner
- You'll work both client-direct as well as with our partners' agencies
- Coordinating with other functional and support areas, including campaign management, commercial, operations, product development and billing
- Representing the business at industry, networking and partner events

- Ability to work within a cross-functional team across international markets in different time zones
**Desired skills and experience**
- A track record of generating new business sales to create scale and meet business objectives
- Experience in influencing, managing and selling in large scale proposals to senior client contacts and stakeholders would be useful
- Experience in pitching digital advertising solutions to agencies and clients is a must
- Experience selling solutions across multiple markets would be beneficial
- Contacts across Airlines, Media Agencies, National and Regional tourist boards based out of your region would be advantageous but not a must
- A good understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem
- Experience with online travel clients/campaigns is an advantage.
- An established travel/destination network within APAC would be advantageous
- Proven success in client management or successful consultative or solution-selling experience
- A passion for travel would help you get ahead
