**Position Title**: Commercial Manager APAC

**Location**: Singapore

**Your role**

The Commercial Manager will be part of the APAC retail colocation business within Digital Realty and will be responsible for working with Sales on commercial solutions. Reporting to the VP, Portfolio Management, the Commercial Manager is a sales support position that will require strong commercial and analytical skills and the ability to work well with a variety of functions and levels within the organization.

**What you’ll do**
- Offer Development
- Manage pre-sales pricing process including pricing tool and system support. Will also be responsible for pricing escalations and approval process.
- Work closely with finance team to understand profitability of pricing models and deal terms.
- Support colocation Sales Managers on developing customer proposals.
- Complex Solution Development
- Working closely and as a partner with sales, sales management, product, and solution architects, this position will be responsible for developing and driving complex and non-standard solutions with strategic customers.
- Interacting often with senior level customers, the solution development will involve pricing models and negotiation of complex commercial terms.
- Review Sales APAC Colocation Quotes and generate executable service orders
- Review and process signed service orders and submit for countersignatures
- Create Opportunity, Quote and Executable Service Orders for APAC Scale Cross Connects
- Work alongside Legal in the negotiation of Service Orders with the customer
- Track and maintain all customer concessions related to the Colocation business
- Work alongside Sales Engineering in the provision of Colocation suite layout plans and track power and space availability and density
- Provide and track Colocation business performance overview versus business case by market
- Track customer payments and ensure arrears are kept to a minimum
- Create billing information for confirmed service orders
- Provide delivery dates to billing for completed customer installations
- Actively review processes and look for ways to streamline and/or automate
- Act as a leader within the company
- Mentor and develop team members

**What you’ll need**
- Bachelor’s degree in business or technical field with MBA preferred
- 5+ years data center, telecommunications, and/or IT industry experience preferably in the areas of Commercial Management, Finance, Business Development, and Product Management.
- Working knowledge of data communications, cloud, and Enterprise IT.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills including ability to conduct presentations to variety of levels both internal and external to the company
- Ability to interact with cross-functional peers as well as senior management.
- Experience working for international company a plus.
- Prior roles/function customer facing a plus
- Prior roles/function with direct interactions with Sales personnel
- Ability to work efficiently and seamlessly on virtual teams and accommodate time zone differences
- Self-starter with strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive, result-oriented attitude
