At ESET, our Sales Excellence Lead supports the APAC markets with actionable business insights and tangible recommendations to impact the top and bottom line growth.
Job description
This highly visible role is part of the APAC regional management team, supporting the business by optimizing go-to-market models and internal processes. This involves working closely with Regional Sales, marketing, and systems teams.
You will focus on change management and adoption activities supporting the measurement and analysis of sales metrics and related productivity initiatives to optimize the rapid growth of our business.
Additionally, driving deep collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders, customers, and cross-functional teams to identify and solve problems, build and implement mechanisms that create operational efficiencies, and deliver successfully against high organizational standards.
Your core functional responsibilities include
- Being the regional contact for global sales effectiveness, for driving the sales to the target operating model and the sales strategy; this involves working with the Regional Sales Director, Head of Business Strategy/Country Managers to drive more effective sales activities.
- Responsible for instituting sales processes and disciplines across the region such as prospecting, pipeline management, and deal management to ensure consistency in our approach across the sales process and measurement and to ensure that our sales teams are operating with structure and focus.
- Working with the global sales excellence team to ensure the effectiveness & sales operating model is working properly in the Asia Pacific.
- Working with the Regional Sales Director/Country Managers to review how sales staff are measured in the region and reconfigure a more fit-for-purpose process and methodology for tracking sales and the basis of KPIs for performance management.
- In agreement with the Regional Sales Director, review, revise/improve any other relevant policies/processes that can deliver a marked and quantifiable positive business impact.
- Implement a Balance Scorecard Framework in the region to close gaps in account planning, product pipeline analysis, product training, and certification based on regional priorities.
Areas that will help you stand out from the rest
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field
- 5+ years of channel sales experience in the software industry, including a combination of sales operation, sales leadership/management, and/or Commercial Excellence roles.
- Excellent business acumen, strategic planning, analytical, communication, project management, and change management skills.
- Superior communicator able to assemble and articulate key strategies, plans, and reports aligned to drive tangible business impact.
- Demonstrated capability to translate growth strategies into practical sales plans, best practices, and operational structures with a broad portfolio of business models and industry vertical experiences.
- Excellent English - written and verbal skills
