As a Cloud Operations Engineer for the Cloud Center of Excellence team located in Singapore, you will be carrying out proactive operations activities across a global organization to ensure internal customers receive world-class support on AWS and GCP Thales public cloud infrastructure.

**A week in the life of a Cloud Operations Engineer**:

- Support the company-defined AWS and GCP cloud strategy.
- Enjoying solving problems, working with customers, and have technical backgrounds from a variety of different fields
- Collaborate and work closely with Site Reliability Engineering and Security teams.
- Provide general guidance on questions from internal customers to troubleshooting and reproducing complex performance issues
- Understand infrastructure monitoring, logging, alerting release and configuration management
- Participate actively in change and incident management processes and coordinating several stakeholders.
- Ensure day-to-day world-class support to internal engineering and services teams.
- Ensure continuous Thales AWS cloud improvements.

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**:

- **To succeed at this job, you must have a **strong customer focus and 2 years of experience as a Cloud Operations Engineer or DevOps Engineer.
- **You must have **knowledge on AWS or GCP, Terraform, Python, and experience in monitoring/logging like DataDog.
- **We would like someone to join our team who will **have a strong customer focus and is comfortable in an ambiguous, ever changing environment; have experience with incident and change management process.
- **You must have a **Degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- **We are looking for someone with **excellent network analysis fundamentals, robust troubleshooting skills with large scale customer support systems and processes
- **AWS or GCP Certification **would be an advantage.
