We are searching for a passionate Demand Planning Manager to join our dynamic team at The LEGO Group now
Core Responsibilities
- Lead part of monthly of demand planning cycle, including driving for alignment and sign off with local business owners for the plan, including e.g. trade-offs, risks and opportunities. This will also include preparing pre-read material and presenting to stakeholders.
- Secure plans are built on a strong subset of assumptions. Collaborate with various stakeholders across marketing, insights and B2B to enable the best possible plan quality. Validate plans against online trends like shopper profiles, visits and conversion.
- Deliver strong promotional plans, and take lead in reviewing across channels that plans are aligned to local, regional and global activations.
- Secure final forecast submission happens timely and in high quality, and that non item level aspects are calculated and loaded; e.g. framing from discounts and fulfilment revenue.
- Work with supply planning team and regional demand management team for short term demand changes, managing demand signal as well as constraint plan and regional allocation.
- Onboarding new planning system and support continuously improvement on statistics model.
- Various reporting and analytical tasks. Examples could be launch handshakes performance, performance assessment and need for mini-submissions/short term changes.

The retail planning team is a global team today based in 4 different locations; Enfield - Shanghai - London - Billund, and now we are further increasing our presence to Singapore as well. We are responsible for the +18 Month demand plan globally across LEGO owned branded channels, both physical stores and online. We plan a +14Bdkk annual turnover and have been experiencing a hyper growth the past years.

This role will work closely with the China/APAC LEGO retail planning team, consistent of 4 employees located in Shanghai and now also Singapore. The team is a part of the Global LEGO retail planning team, and will have direct reference into the Global Head of Retail planning, whilst functionally be working closely with Sr. Manager of APAC/China.

LEGO retail is on a growth Journey, and these are the first planning roles for own branded channels that are located in Singapore, and it poses a unique opportunity for influencing the setup and our process, and ultimately reaching as many shoppers as possible.
Do you have what it takes?
- Bachelors degree within relevant field, e.g. Business or supply chain gmt... is preferred. Can also be a background within a commercial field with strong flair for process, numbers and understanding an end-to-end business process.
- Min 5-8years Demand Planning & analytical experience.
- Demonstrated strong collaboration skills across functions, cultures and management levels. Experience working minimum at a regional level in a retail environment with sales locations locally.
- Excellent analytical mindset. Can oversee a larger amount of data and draw out patterns and key messages. Well rounded retail terminology and process like financial planning, conversion rates, retention, AOV etc.
- Strong experience with working with excel /Tableau / Power BI and making it an enabler.
- Experience with leveraging big data and statistical modeling into planning process.
- strong communication skills. Has the ability to speak functionally/technical/detailed language with e.g. demand planners and marketer, and can communicate this in a concise way to Sr. leaders.
- Process focused and systematic. Gets energy from establishing ways of working, new frameworks and ensuring process governance and adherence to these.
- Result orientation and drive. Winning/can do mindset and thrives in overcoming complex situations.
- Strong team player.
- Experience in direct retail business industry and ecommerce channel planning is preferred.
- Adaptability and change readiness. Seeing new situations and changes as opportunities and creating positive momentum around these.
- Thrives in a global environment & uses online collaboration tools to its fullest.
- Advanced English verbal and written.
