JOB PURPOSE
- Drive the demand management process consistent with SKU class and demand planning process guidelines in regional markets
- Provide guidance and leadership in monthly consensus cross-functional to support both demand and supply planning

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

**Responsible for sales forecasting process across markets**
- Responsible for the forecasting and demand planning for the relevant markets on a monthly basis
- Develop effective forecast models based on sales trends and demand patterns and effectively communicate forecast and inventory estimations to management and relevant stakeholders.
- Prepare and facilitate monthly forecasting process with respective markets, channels and/or banners’ representative
- Using trend analysis and other forecast techniques to assess the demand risk or opportunities associated with commercial and supply chain
- Ensure appropriate adjustments are done across markets based on sales trends, especially for new product launches
- Identify gaps and opportunities for forecast improvement and understand business processes and needs
- Consolidate and submit the monthly forecast to supply chain for master production scheduling (MPS)
- Identify and participate across the value chain and provide inputs and solutions to generate adequate and accurate forecasts
- Address demand and supply related issues in a timely and effective manner

**Analyse root causes of forecast error**
- Prepare and update accuracy files with previous month’s sales, and analyse root causes of forecast errors to mitigate stock-out or over-stocking situations
- Discussion and align with sales and marketing on forecast errors and adjustments to demand forecast
- Reconcile demand and supply with their impact on inventory, working to optimise inventory coverages

**Ensure supply meets demand**
- Incorporate production plans from different factories into replenishment plan; timely update and monitoring of production schedules and current inventory to ensure supply meets demand
- Analyse, plan and influence SCM MPS (master production schedule) for finished goods to be produced at the right time right quantity according to factories' ability to fulfil the demand
- Implemented the design in parameterization of demand and supply planning to provide accurate information for optimal planning
- Lead and design and develop solutions that bridge the gap between the planning business teams with limited resources

**Analyse slow moving & obsolescence stocks**
- Identify and report the defined excess and slow-moving stocks; evaluate the risk of stocks could become obsolete
- Lead the identified excess inventory and developed a sales plan jointly with commercial team to liquidate the inventory

**Portfolio review to SKU Rationalisation**
- Gather relevant data at PK group level across all markets, incorporated with financial data for each SKU for commercial assessment
- Analyse and provide product class according to defined period input for pareto analysis, with 80/20 rules

**Requisition for purchase order, urgent release, cluster pack/sticker materials**
- Prepare and approval for purchase requisition, urgent release, purchase of cluster pack/barcode sticker

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENT
- Bachelor’s in supply chain management, business or any related degree
- Possess at least 5-8 years’ experience in demand planning, supply chain and sales/marketing
- Relevant consumer product industry experience especially in FMCG
- Knowledge in integrated system from forecasting to supply chain, excel & powerpoint
- Good understanding of forecast models and methods, supply chain processes & practices
- Experience in leading demand forecasting to S&OP is a plus
- Demonstrates passion for continuous improvement, strong analytical skills, resourceful, cross-functional team oriented, adaptable to business changes
- Strong computer skills with advanced excel skills such as pivot table and V-lookup etc
