Job Summary:
The Customer Account Representative serves as the point of contact for multiple customers, including coverage for global customers. Attain or exceed pre-determined monthly/quarterly/annual revenue by maintaining highest quality and service standards. Develop new business through existing or potential customers.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

- Getting price quotations for both stock and non-stock items as per company guidelines. This may include sourcing, working with spreadsheets, and following up on quotes with purchasing.
- Handling customer claims with different departments like Accounting and Quality Assurance, including managing returns, determining the root cause of issues, and suggesting and implementing solutions. Also assisting with cash collection.
- Keeping an eye on open orders, spotting potential problems, and working with different teams to fix them to ensure timely delivery and meet performance goals.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with assigned customers, providing excellent service and quick responses to their needs.
- Negotiating prices, freight, and terms with customers, following company guidelines.
- Generating revenue by making both inbound and outbound calls and using persuasive techniques to encourage sales.
- Collaborating with the purchasing team to make inventory purchases that support major customers.
- Performing any other duties or tasks assigned by the company.

Job Requirements:

- 2-4 years related work experience (customer service, sales roles preferred)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
