**Key Responsibilities**:
Underwrite in line with Aviation governance framework e.g. Underwriting Authorities, global MSU, Underwriting Guidelines, Rules and Principles

Ensure contract certainty is achieved on all accounts at time of inception

Actively drive involvement of functional areas in Underwriting process, including Market Management, Risk Consulting, Claims, Operations etc.

Re-underwrite complex business as appropriate

Contribute to the development and execution of regional Underwriting strategy for Aviation

Build and maintain positive relationships with key producers and clients and other stakeholders (e. g. risk managers)

Ensure accurate policy documentation is issued to producers, or that producers have issued documentation

**Qualifications**:
**Qualifications**:
Expert experience in underwriting profitable business in the Aviation segment of large corporate international insurance or have experience at a recognized Aviation broker, with a special focus on Aerospace

Have excellent relationships with clients and brokers at peer group level

Specialized understanding of regional / local Aviation insurance markets and competitor landscape

Capability in leveraging data and analytics to make business more efficient and effective

Ability to assess risk inherent exposures, business interruption and natural hazards

Ability to persuade and motivate others to act, without executive authority
