Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage a team of aviation insurance underwriters, ensuring that business goals and targets are met
- Develop and implement underwriting strategies and guidelines for aviation insurance to support the growth and profitability of the business
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and risks in the Asia Pacific region
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and industry stakeholders to ensure the provision of high-quality customer service
- Manage the P&L for the aviation insurance portfolio, ensuring that the business is profitable and meets budget expectations

**Requirements**:

- A minimum of 10 years of aviation underwriting experience with a good understanding of the Asia Pacific region
- Strong technical knowledge of aviation insurance, including underwriting and claims
- Proven experience in managing a P&L and leading a team of underwriters
- Insurance qualifications, such as ACII, would be preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound business decisions
- A high level of initiative and drive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
