**The role of an Oakwood Manager/ Assistant Manager, Human Resources**

**The Assistant Manager, Human Resources will**:

- Be responsible for full spectrum of Human Resources including but not limited to recruitment, compensation and benefits, training, employee engagement and performance management

**Responsibilities**:

- Engage on HR matters including manpower planning, budgeting, performance discussions and staff issues
- Provide corresponding analysis and projections vis-a-vis HR reporting metrics.
- Work on manpower planning and structural changes during financial year.
- Engage on staff issues pertaining to confirmation and performance reviews, grievance and exit management.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process to maintain staffing level to meet business needs.
- Manage recruitment process from attraction, selection, interview and appointment to maintain the staffing level for different level of hires.
- This includes working with different organizations on the secondment of key personnel to the division(s).
- Perform administrative support in training related matters, preparation of training reports and documents and liaise with the internal trainer and external training providers of various training programs.
- Participate and value-add in performance management discussions with Business.
- Build and foster a culture of employee engagement to reinforce the organization’s business strategies and culture for continuous growth and improve
- Carry out any other duties as and when assigned by the Management of the Hotel

**KEY QUALIFICATIONS**

**What it takes to be a really great Assistant Manager, Human Resources**
- A Degree or Professional Diploma in Human Resource Studies
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Human Resource position (for Assistant Manager, Human Resources)
- Having experience, passion, and a great understanding of the role is equally important
- Strong communication skills, people-oriented, ability to build a good rapport with stakeholders
- High integrity with confidential data
- Detailed-oriented and hard-working with a strong sense of responsibility
- Team-oriented, strong in individual and team-based contributions
- Strong organisational skills, detail-oriented and process-driven
- Ability to set priorities and multi-task
- Ability to work productively with others in a rapidly growing organisation
- Positive, proactive and strong speaking, and presentation skills
