The Head of IT, Asia is responsible for the execution of Transformation, Change, Delivery and Run of IT Services towards Allianz Technology’s customers in Asia.
- Operates as the trusted “Account Delivery Executive” with end-to-end accountability for the delivery and operations of all related Allianz Technology (AZT) services covering Applications and Infrastructure along with responsibility for the associated customer P&L.
- Assumes the role of the Allianz Technology** **Singapore Branch Head, managing the Branch legal entity and its respective organization, developing and monitoring branch business and ensuring efficient delivery of local and global services towards the customer, on time, in budget and with quality. The Branch head assumes local accountability for support and governance functions such as Risk, Compliance, Finance, legal and HR.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Prepares and handles all customer interactions on a management level; responsible for regular account meetings with the OEs and involvement of respective IT functions for programs and production issues, knowledgeable of all current and upcoming services, accountable for coordinating all delivery activities, ensuring service quality and adherence to the approved business case.
- Supports the regional Chief Technology and Transformation Officer (CTO) by managing the relationship with designated OEs; escalates when needed; is the owner of the agenda and the planning between the OE and the CTO; tracks actuals against plan, coordinates corrective actions when needed; coordinates knowledge transfer between headquarter and other branches
- Establish a new collaboration model in region and drive the implementation of a potential Regional Delivery Centre for IT services alongside the insurance business, Allianz Asia Pacific (AZAP), and H4 (Group Operations)
- Work with the existing Global Delivery Centre in Thailand to further drive AZT IT solutions across Asia
- Accountable for the end-to-end delivery of Asia BMP program (Core Insurance Platform) and execution of business transformation program for Application Service transition.
- Responsible for the Branch & customer P&L, i.e. Revenues and P&L of all AZT services delivered to the OE along with other commercial activities such as approving and validating client contracts, providing financial status, and implementing systems for analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information.
- Holds local oversite for a wide spectrum of cross-functional capabilities such as HR, Finance, Legal, Risk and Compliance.
- Manages the heads of global functions located within the Singapore Branch: sets priorities jointly with the CTO and global leadership to serve Asia customers to their satisfaction; monitors status, anticipates changes & risks, proposed items for improvement and follows-up.
- Maintains and enhances the organization's human resources by planning, implementing and evaluating employee relations and HR policies, programs, and practices; ensures services go through the correct internal processes; ensures that company's policies and rules are followed and in line with regulatory and ethical standards.
- Drives adoption of shared services and group target platforms, delivers transformation projects with accountability toward the customer for the overall delivery of the IT roadmap and stability of production services.
- Integrates and manages customer legacy systems including driving decommissioning and harmonizing according to the transformation plans. Responsible for the replacement of legacy with target Group solutions.
- Coordinates with the respective global IT functions to define the nature and scope of the present and future products by reviewing product specifications and requirements, proposes product modifications and changes and is accountable to implement IT transformation together with the client.

**Key Requirements**
- 20 Years of experience, with a focus on IT and general management. Strong knowledge of the insurance industry a distinct advantage.
- Technical skills
- Strong understanding of Insurance Industry Operations and IT opportunities along the value chain; knowledge of Insurance Business strategy, challenges, and regulatory specifics of Asia main markets.
- Good working knowledge of ITSM and related tools and processes. Familiarity with IT Governance and controls (e.g. IT General Control / COBIT 5) and related tooling.
- General skills
- Advanced understanding of Shared Services, arms-length operating models; Experience operating in a commercial Account Delivery position, strongly focused on customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrated experience leading large scale international Technology transformation / change programs covering both technology delivery and organizational change.
- Strong negotiation and networking skills, excellent "client" relationship at C-level; Possessing analytical thinking and methodological planning techniques; Solid business judgment and advances
