We are looking for a **Credit Management Officer **who will be responsible for all debt collection and management activities by identifying and resolving delinquent accounts through relevant debt recovery actions

**You will**:

- Define and refine the collections strategy, which includes continuously optimizing debt collection and management activities to control delinquency and minimize credit losses
- Monitor loan accounts, follow up on payments, liaise with borrowers to resolve any outstanding queries and negotiate deadlines and repayment plans
- Recommend and initiate appropriate course of action on delinquent accounts
- Collaborate with Operations and Finance teams to establish and execute collection processes and workflows to deliver efficiency and industry best practices
- Liaise with external parties for debt recovery assignments
- Provide updates to internal stakeholders for accounts status and collection efforts

**You are**:

- **Experienced In Collections **- You have racked up at least 2 years of experience either in banks or financial institutions as a collections officer. You should have a good understanding of the collections process for retail and/or SMEs and working knowledge of legal recovery methods.
- **Effective Communicator **- You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively communicate to Management and all other stakeholders
