**Associate Director, Credit Solutions, Asia**

Credit Solutions is a global specialty line within Aon’s Commercial Risk Solutions business. This role is part of the regional team with pan-Asia client coverage responsibility with a focus on the financial institution, private equity, and infrastructure investor client segments. As part of a high-performance team, you will deliver innovative and strategic risk transfer solutions for our clients to optimize their balance sheets, enable growth, and lower their cost of capital.

**What the day will look like**
- Origination, structuring and placement of structured credit, political risk and surety solutions across multiple asset classes and transaction situations with ownership of insurance transactions throughout the deal lifecycle
- Develop new transaction opportunities/relationships with clients and prospective clients including idea generation, building targeted prospect lists, delivering client presentations, and leading client dialogue
- Execute the Credit Solutions broking strategy by optimizing (re)insurance capacity, pricing and coverage for clients through a combination of product knowledge, understanding of insurer capabilities, negotiation of insurance contracts and ongoing relationship development with insurers
- Drive origination activity for assigned countries by delivering solution expertise and client presentation material in partnership with in-country sales teams
- Support the production of external thought leadership content in collaboration with colleagues across Aon’s solutions lines
- Partner with various Aon teams (Sales & Marketing, Specialty Products, and in-Country teams) to articulate the Credit Solutions value proposition to the broader Aon client base.
- Deliver best-in-class service to assigned portfolio of existing clients with executed insurance policies including any claims management and policy administration/endorsement matters

**Skills and experience that will lead to success**
- 6 - 10 years of experience in credit insurance broking or underwriting (or relevant adjacent professions including banking, law, consulting or accountancy)
- Superior communication skills, both oral and written, with ability to succinctly and credibly present complex information to small and large audiences
- Ability and proven track record in developing and managing relationships with clients and insurers to influence decision making
- Possess a growth mindset and a high level of intellectual curiosity
- Self-directed individual with ability to thrive in a results-oriented environment
- Enthusiastic about insurance solutions and genuinely interested in the credit insurance business and our clients.
- Working knowledge of financial statements and credit analysis
- Ability to travel as required
