- Oversee the operation of the accounting and reporting function at the corporate level, including but not limited to the design and implement the group policies and procedures across the region, manage and review regional consolidation results for effective and quality reporting to the parent company.
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports in accordance with Singapore FRS or IFRS and regulatory requirements
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, statutory regulations and financial accounting frameworks applicable
- Provide expertise and guidance on complex accounting issues, staying updated on changes in accounting standards and ensuring their proper implementation
- Establish and monitor internal control to safeguard financial assets and ensure the accuracy of financial records
- Collaborate with external (and internal) auditors, facilitating audit process and ensuring timely resolution of audit findings
- Work closely with tax professionals to ensure compliance with tax laws in the region, including the preparation and filling of tax returns.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as legal, business and operations and compliance, to ensure practices align with overall business strategies and objectives.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team, fostering professional development and maintaining a high standard of accounting practices

**Qualifications**:

- At least a Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, with CPA qualification
- In depth understanding of Singapore FRS or IFRS
- At least 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting and auditing roles, preferably those with a reputable auditing firm, with focus on technical accounting
- Prior managerial or supervisory experience is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of accounting principles and industry best practices and the ability to adapt to evolving standards
- Effective communication skills, both written and spoken
- Exposure to MAS requirements will be advantageous
- Familiarity with NetSuite will be advantageous
