We are on a mission to drive and expand Onitsuka Tiger’s global business and become the most iconic premium lifestyle brand. As we are in the midst of building a strong finance function to expand our business in Southeast Asia, we require a Regional Finance Manager to proactively participate in this activity. This position is responsible for strengthening the finance function of Onitsuka Tiger SEA, working closely with the Business Management department of Onitsuka Tiger headquarters, as well as aligning with the business strategies and initiatives as a team member of Onitsuka Tiger SEA.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Oversee and present accurate, timely, and consolidated financial statements and reports for the SEA region, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and reporting requirements.
- Lead the regional budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes, collaborating with Onitsuka Tiger SEA Regional Director and the Business Management Department of Onitsuka Tiger HQ to establish financial goals and monitor performance against budgets.
- Manage and oversee month-end and year-end closing processes across the region, ensuring accuracy and consistency in journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and intercompany transactions.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify business trends, provide actionable insights, and make recommendations to the members of Onitsuka Tiger SEA and the Business Management Department of Onitsuka Tiger HQ, driving revenue growth, operational efficiency, and profitability for the SEA region.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in SEA and HQ to standardize and streamline financial reporting processes, improve efficiency, and implement robust financial controls.
- Serve as the key point of contact for HQ’s Business Management Department, ensuring alignment on financial policies, strategies, and reporting requirements, and provide timely updates on regional performance.
- Ensure full compliance with local statutory requirements, financial regulations, and tax laws across all SEA markets, managing audits and tax matters in collaboration with external auditors, tax advisors, and legal partners.
- Develop and manage the regional finance team, fostering talent development through coaching, mentoring, and performance management to build a high-performing and collaborative finance function.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, including auditors and tax advisors.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial systems, tools, and processes to enhance reporting accuracy, efficiency, and business decision-making.
- Lead and support ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives as directed by the Business Management Department of HQ or regional leadership

**REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA is preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a regional or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, with proven experience managing month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and regional stakeholders to drive financial goals and business performance.
- Excellent understanding of local and regional financial regulations, tax compliance, and statutory reporting requirements.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing finance teams.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide strategic insights and actionable recommendations.
- Experience working in a multinational or regional environment, with an understanding of SEA markets and cultures preferred.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Proficiency in English, with fluency in an additional SEA language preferred.
- Business proficiency in Japanese will be an advantage for effective communication with Onitsuka Tiger HQ in Japan.
- Experience in retail industries such as fashion (apparel/footwear) and cosmetics is preferred
