Strategic Recruitment Lead Asia

Play a pivotal role in our Asia Recruitment team to help drive strategic projects for Macquarie. Reporting into the Regional Head of Recruitment and Talent for Asia, this newly created role based in Singapore will lead on the delivery of key strategic recruitment initiatives across Asia Core (all regional locations excluding our Shared Service Centre (SSC) locations in Gurugram and Manila) as well as partnering with the SSC Recruitment Leadership team to ensure greater alignment of the full regional recruitment strategy.

This is an exciting time to join our team as we define and shape the recruitment solution across the Asia region. You will have the opportunity to optimise our regional engagement with our Global RPO partner, search firms and recruitment agencies; enhance our DE&I recruiting strategy; identify alternative sourcing strategies and employer brand opportunities and support the local adoption of our new incoming CRM and ATS. One of the key immediate projects will involve understanding the business’ junior talent needs and devising a strategy for our recruiters to deliver across the Region.

As a passionate ambassador for Macquarie, your role will include
- Partnering with our key recruitment suppliers to enhance our hiring sourcing strategy and delivery across all levels and locations in Asia Core
- Drive capability uplift across multiple stakeholder groups (including hiring managers and recruiters)
- Lead and enhance DE&I recruitment partnerships for Asia Core and drive other DE&I recruitment initiatives
- Share insights, initiate and execute new ideas to ensure a continuous focus of innovation and process improvement and partner effectively with colleagues across the region and globally
- Partner with our business stakeholders, HRBPs and recruiters to further evolve the junior talent attraction strategy across multiple business groups in Asia Core (i.e., build on existing and explore new relationships with university faculties, societies and industry partners across key locations)
- Partner with our Employment Brand team to drive and assist with employer brand opportunities across Asia including the development of Macquarie’s social media presence and marketing collateral leveraging our EVP and enhancement of our new joiner experience in line with Gurugram/Manila
- Be accountable for the local adoption of our new core recruitment technology roll-out

This is an incredibly varied role where you will have the opportunity to use a range of skills:

- You will possess the knowledge, skills, and insights to drive recruitment initiatives and campaigns across business groups with unique needs
- You will leverage your stakeholder engagement skills to understand the business groups’ talent objectives and advise on recruitment strategies to meet their needs
- Your capability managing multiple priorities across varied campaigns will require strong organisational, time management and high-level collaboration skills.
- Working knowledge of Avature is desirable.
