We are looking for a self-driven and committed researcher to augment our research and surveillance programmes at the Environmental Health Institute. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment where your research is translated into evidence-based public health programmes and policies, we invite you to join us. You will be part of a dynamic team that works closely with a network of local and international collaborators to impact our public health landscape.

The job might be for you if you possess the following qualities:

- Degree in Life Sciences or related disciplines
- Knowledge and interest in insects will be desirable
- Willing to handle mosquitoes
- Interest in process improvement and innovation
- Able to work independently and in a team
- Able to systematically perform routine workflow with an eye for details
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Aptitude in working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time
- Good knowledge in Microsoft Office
- Physically fit and possess the physical endurance for the challenges of field work
- Preferably possesses a valid class 3 licence and is willing to drive office vehicle to field sites
- Willing to work staggered hours or after office-hours, weekends and public holiday
