**Roles & Responsibilities**

Chief Compliance Officer or Senior Compliance Officer
- With relevant Compliance or AML/CFT experience in a regulated Financial Institution (FI) or Bank in Singapore or a regulated MPI or SPI in Singapore (More than 5 years).

Or has the necessary seniority and authority to effectively perform his/her responsibilities, at the management level.
- To provide support to the CEO to ensure that ML/TF risks are adequately identified, understood and managed.
- To assist in daily compliance work with regards to conduct Customer Due Diligence, ongoing monitoring, transaction monitoring, perform screenings, record keeping, report suspicious transactions, etc.
- Responsibilities of the CCO/ SCO should include, amongst others, the following:
i. carrying out, or overseeing the carrying out of:
a. ongoing monitoring of business relations or review of transactions undertaken;

b. sample review of accounts or transactions for compliance with the AML/CFT Policy and such other Guidelines, Notices and Regulations as the MAS will issue from time to time.

ii. promoting compliance with the AML/ CFT Policy, as well as such other Guidelines, Notices and Regulations as the MAS will issue from time to time, and taking overall charge of all AML/CFT matters within the organisation;

iii. informing Employees and officers of the Company promptly of regulatory changes;

iv. ensuring a speedy and appropriate reaction to any matter in which ML/TF is suspected;

v. reporting, or overseeing the reporting of, suspicious transactions;

vi. advising and training Employees and officers of the Company on developing and implementing internal policies, procedures and controls on AML/CFT;

vii. reporting to senior management and/or board of directors on the outcome of reviews of the Company’s compliance with this AML/CFT Policy and such other Guidelines, Notices and Regulations as the MAS will issue from time to time and risk assessment procedures;

viii. reporting regularly on key AML/CFT risk management and control issues, and any necessary remedial actions, arising from audit, inspection, and compliance reviews, to the senior management and/or board of directors, at least annually and as and when needed.
- The role will have appropriate compliance management arrangements that facilitate him/her to implement AML/CFT Systems to comply with relevant legal and regulatory obligations in Singapore as well as to manage ML/TF risks effectively.
- The CCO/ SCO will report to the CEO in his/her scope of duties and responsibilities.

Junior Compliance Officer
- With relevant Compliance or AML/CFT experience in a regulated Financial Institution (FI) or Bank in Singapore, or a regulated MPI or SPI in Singapore. (Minimum 2 years).
- To assist the CCO or SCO in the day-to-day operations.
- The JCO will report to the CCO or SCO in his/her scope of duties and responsibilities.
