[What the role is]

The Finance Services Department (FSD) under the Finance Division supports the operational departments in areas of transactional accounting including but not restricted to payments, revenue, fixed assets and costing of fees and charges, etc. It maintains proper and correct accounting records ensuring the integrity of NEA’s financial records.

[What you will be working on]

As an Executive/Senior Executive in the Finance Services Department of the Finance Division, you will be responsible for the following:

- Handle day-to-day operational matters pertaining to daily revenue collection and liaise with Operations departments
- Execute monthly GIRO collections
- Perform prompt invoicing and collection of receivables within stipulated credit terms
- Perform month-end closing activities within stipulated timelines such as preparation of journals, management/GST reports and monthly reconciliations
- Assist supervisor to prepare year-end audit schedules and documents requested by auditors
- Attend to requests or enquiries from external and internal customers
- Handle any other matters as assigned, e.g. system changes, process improvement, etc.

[What we are looking for]

Job Requirements:

- Background in Accounting or Finance. Experience in Accounts Receivable role would be an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, e.g. toggling excel, use of formulas and functions to perform tasks efficiently.
- Meticulous with an eye for detail.
- Able to work independently and effectively as a team.
- You will be working in a fast-paced and highly volatile environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders concurrently.
