Hybrid Cloud Sales Specialist for Singapore

About the job:
What you will do:
- Closely collaborate with the Account team in the account planning process; analyze customer business drivers and priorities and create a narrative that positions Red Hat’s solutions as a key component in delivering technology-fueled innovation and digital transformation
- Manage a complex sales cycle from prospecting to closing in collaboration with the account management team, solutions architects, and the professional services team
- Meet quantitative and qualitative performance expectations
- Capture compelling reasons and clearly illustrate the business value of the Red Hat technology solutions; use Red Hat’s Presales, Consulting, and Business team resources to ensure Red Hat’s solutions are tailored to meet customer business requirements
- Ensure the business value derived from the Red Hat’s technology solutions and competitive differentiators are understood and agreed-upon by the customer decision makers
- Enable the Red Hat sales teams and partners so that they are also able to effectively communicate the business value derived from Red Hat’s solutions
- Use Red Hat’s journey-based service engagement programs and commercial buying programs to build long-term strategic relationships with customers
- Produce referenceable success stories for strategic solutions wins
What you will bring:
- Understanding of Red Hat’s software portfolio and competitive offerings
- 10+ years of experience selling enterprise software offerings, cloud services, or related technology offerings
- Understanding of the business value and technical solutions sellers; ability to translate customer business and transformation objectives into the value delivered by technology solutions
- Creative thinking, communication, and presentation skills
- Sales, presales, or consulting experience with major banks operating in Singapore or the Asia Pacific (APAC) region, or record of previously being employed by these banks
- Understanding of software players in the financial services industry (FSI) vertical, e.g., core banking, payments, treasury system, etc., including Avaloq, Edgeverve (Finacle) Finastra, Misys, Fiserv, Temenos, and others
- Ability to present the business value of technology solutions
- Passion for open source technology and understanding of Red Hat’s software subscription business model
- Proven ability to work seamlessly with global, cross-functional teams to achieve success on behalf of customers
- Balance of strategic, tactical, technical, and creative thinking skills
Specialist knowledge in the following domains:
- Hybrid cloud, public cloud, and private cloud
- Containers and Kubernetes
- IT automation and management
- Application development
- DevOps, testing, software development life cycle (SDLC), and agile methodology
- Cloud-native development
- Application runtimes
- APIs and integrations
- Business rules management (BRM) and business process management (BPM)
