Our client is a privately owned and award-winning Australian engineering company. Headquartered in Sydney with offices in most Australian capital cities, Indonesia, and Singapore, the company provides innovative, economical, and elegant designs in the public and private sectors.

We are searching for a Structural Engineer at an Associate level to join the newly established Singapore office. The role will be collaborating heavily with the Director to foster the company's growth as a leading firm in the region.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Producing designs, documentation, specifications, fee proposals, reports, and other documentation to meet client requirements for projects of reasonable complexity.
- Managing medium to large-scale projects, including pricing, tender submissions, technical documentation, project scheduling and monitoring progress, resourcing, and meeting deadlines and budgets.
- The timely preparation of client reports.
- Liaising with engineers and drafters to enable document preparation.
- Developing and maintaining solid relationships with clients.
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable Codes and policies, such as Workplace Health and Safety practices and Quality Assurance.
- Guiding and sharing technical expertise and best practices with colleagues.

**What you will bring to the table**:

- A minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role.
- At a minimum, a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent.
- A proven track record of delivering a diverse range of projects, such as in low and high-rise buildings, MRT, and timber structures.
- Familiar with Singapore Standards and Codes of Practice and statutory requirements (LTA, BCA, PUB, etc.).
- Preferably experienced in excavation work on multi-level basements.
- Effective time management skills with the ability to organise and prioritise incoming work appropriately.
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
