**Responsibilities**
- Support key areas of structural engineering, including design codes, legislative requirements and current good engineering practice. Understands clients’ needs;
- Assist in offshore transport and installation with load conditions.
- Support design installation aid and offshore transport, grillage and sea-fastening related activities.
- Support in sea-fastening design for jacket, topside, pipeline, risers and umbilical transportation and vessel/barge deck strength check.
- Final Element Analysis, including strength analysis, vibration analysis, fatigue analysis and lifting analysis etc.
- Support in production of deliverables, which may include design calculations, specifications, procedures, analyses, progress reports, bid evaluations, study reports and various 3rd-party submissions.
- Assist in technical documentation.
- Supports all relevant safety objectives and legal requirements are observed.
- Assist in analysis, design and engineering activities associated with platform and subsea structure construction, transportation and installation.
- Support structural stability and integrity calculations for steel frame structures, installation aids items for pipelines, spool pieces, tie ins, risers and umbilical installation.
- Assist in detailing in accordance with acknowledged industry Codes, Standards and Design Guides (e.g. API, DNV, AISC); Client Specifications and Scopes of Work.
- Support engineering assistance during mobilisations and occasional periods of offshore or site working where required.
- Aid in technical engineering support to other departments within the Engineering Group, and to colleagues in terms of training and mentoring.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in civil engineering, Mechanical engineering, or Marine engineering focused on marine structures with 5 years of experience or more
- Experience from the offshore/oil & gas industry is a plus
- Experience with SESAM (GENIE), SACS and STAAD.Pro and MOSES Analysis will be an advantage
- Familiar with DNV, API and Eurocodes will be an advantage

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: $7,000.00 - $10,000.00 per month
