**About our group**:
Media new product launch is to provide technical solutions to new product qualification, product yield, quality and reliability through developing new process and metrology. The team also needs to work closely with media R&D group and drive design center to continue optimize media process in order to meet product electrical recording performance as well as mechanical, tribology, manufacturability.

**About the role - you will**:

- Media development including design VTS series and DVL
- Compile launch process data result and conduct data analysis for performance improvement & tuning
- Perform sputter process optimization and yield improvement study to support transfer yield goals
- Perform preventive maintenance of the machine condition
- Perform equipment troubleshooting and production of critical build (lead lot).
- Demonstrate mass production capability and IMRR to sustaining
- Support evaluation for Hardware/ Target / Process / Substrate / Mechanical & Reliability study, and present in daily meetings or conference calls with the US team
- Be technical lead of sputter engineering specialist

**About you**:

- Good understanding on magnetic recording materials, process and thin film technology
- Teamwork and self-motivated
- Fast learning capability
- Effective communication and technical leadership skills
- Ability to drive technical innovation into rapid product solutions
- Flexibility and excellent time and task management capabilities

**Your experience includes**:

- Knowledge and skills in any of these areas - Material science, Magnetic recording knowledge, thin film sputter process
- R&D in magnetic recording media process, including process DOE, magnetic characterization tools, and data analysis techniques are all skills that will be beneficial in this role.
- Proficient in English speaking and writing

**Location**:
Our Woodlands site is one of the largest electronics manufacturing sites in Singapore, housing our recording media operations. Spread over three sites, it is easily accessible via bus or from the MRT Station, with many employees taking mass-transportation to work. Ample free on-site parking is also available.
