Invenia Group is partnering with a cutting-edge start-up that provides innovative products to detect and quantify single proteins and protein interactions using molecular instrumentations e.g. PCR and NGS etc. Having recently launched its products, the company is now looking to hire a Head of Sales to its growing team.

This will be the first commercial hire at the company and be responsible for creating and implementing a commercial strategy for the business.

**Role responsibilities**:
If successful, you will be responsible for creating and implementing the global sales strategy of the company’s new product lines.

Here, you will be responsible for:

- Establishing sales channels in the US and Asian markets
- Develop a sales pipeline in the biotech, biopharma, and pharma industry in the US
- Build and lead an efficient sales and customer support team
- Contribute to the expansion of the business plan and fundraising for series A financing

**What we are looking for**:
We are looking for an entrepreneurial-minded individual who is looking to join a fast-paced start-up, where you will have the opportunity to create and implement commercial strategies. You must have a well-established network in the genomics industry (e.g., ddPCR or NGS, etc.), especially within pharma, biopharma, and biotech, as well as the following:

- Experience developing a sales pipeline and partnerships
- Experience with building a team (this is desirable)
- Marketing experience isn’t essential however (this is a bonus)
- We are looking for someone based on the East Coast of the US
