We are looking for a Senior Account Strategist (east coast) to ensure flawless execution of all campaigns, support the

Sales team with PreSale opportunities, and develop established, trusted client relationships.

This role is crucial to ensuring the success of the Brand Partnerships team and how we are developing the strategy

for advertiser programs through campaign implementation, delivery, recap and renewal. You are client facing and will

have daily cross-departmental communication with Sales, Marketing, Creative + Strategy, Design, Ad Ops, Edit and

Research to ensure we are delivering white glove service through creating impactful offerings that are performance

driven and providing optimal campaign management and performance that leads to client retention.

You are inquisitive, a great listener, paying attention to detail, critical thinking, enthusiasm, organization, resilience,

self-discipline, self-motivation and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. You are also an analytical and

logical thinker with the conviction to meet problems head-on and solve them accurately and quickly being the glue that holds the campaign together.

**You’ll Report To: Associate Director, Account Strategy (East)**

**A typical day as a Senior Account Strategist might include**:

- Manage larger, complex and smaller, fast-paced campaigns across multiple categories & advertisers
- Train, mentor and support Account Strategists; collaborate with Associate Director on performance updates & reviews of the Associate and/or Account Strategists
- Ensure all day-to-day campaign operations run smoothly by working strategically & fostering relationships with all internal departments, removing blockers, smoothing over challenges, and delivering best-in-class communications internally & externally
- Serve as the go-to Account person for 1-2 Sales Representatives, working closely on new, proactive, and
- existing accounts
- Ensure full delivery of each assigned campaign and optimize campaigns to hit or exceed KPIs with the support of Ad Ops, Paid Social, and other internal teams
- Monitor campaign revenue risks & shifts with Sales, Pod lead and Ad Ops
- Oversee campaign wrap-ups, working with internal departments on crafting the campaign success story including recommendations for upselling and repeat business
- Respond to RFPs in collaboration with Sales and develop media plans in line with clients & strategic marketing goals while balancing costs and margins, on an as needed basis
- Join & participate in brainstorms on an as needed basis
- Review media plans against IOs and adjust Boostr as necessary
- Collaborate with the Associate & Senior Directors of Account Strategy on process adjustments & changes

- You understand the life cycle of a campaign from RFP to campaign completion
- You work through the process to effectively & efficiently execute client campaigns that lead to client renewals
- You continuously seek to find ways to streamline & improve processes with key internal stakeholders
- You feel comfortable identifying and upselling opportunities within active campaigns

**What you have**:

- 4- 6 years experience media planning, account management, client services or equivalent experience
- Excellent verbal & non-verbal communication; Must be able to interact with people throughout Leaf Group,
- brands and agencies with ease
- Fluent in digital media language: impressions, CTR, CPM, eCPM, CPV, vCPM, etc.
- Familiarity with audience segmentation technologies and capabilities
- Excellent Excel proficiency; Google Drive Proficiency (including Google Documents, Sheets and Slides);
- Asana and/or Jira experience;
- CRM and OMS Proficiency. Boostr experience a plus
- Proficient in Google Drive, Microsoft Office Suite, and other frequently used web programs
- Experience with reporting & data visualization tools like GA, Data Studio, Tableau, etc a plus
- Data literate. Capable of converting raw data into valuable insights and brand stories; Always driving KPIs
- Well versed in the creative post-sales production process
