Newly incorporated in April 2021, Aqualita Ecotechnology is a start-up focused on aquaculture technology. It is one of the portfolio companies of Temasek Lifesciences Accelerator (TLA) who aims to incubate, nurture and grow life sciences innovations into early-stage companies within its go-to life sciences incubator.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop data collection solutions to mine complex data sets from agronomy systems
- Use data science to capture, analyse and translate data into effective, practical and efficient processes to improve farming protocol
- Formulate and implement new data capturing techniques and processes
- Partner with Developments, Operations, Agronomy and IT teams to develop data driven analytical tools aimed at maximizing farm production.
- Develop data pipelines for automation, scalability, extensibility, and transparency within business, and its users
- Knowledge of IOT, cloud services and integration into simplified data capture ecosystem
- Ensure information systems meet requirements for predictive and efficient analytics
- Participate in discussions to make the right scientific or technical trade-offs to meet long-term strategic and short-term business needs

**Qualifications**:

- B.Sc in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Ag Business, Statistics, Business Analytics, Agronomy or a related field
- 3 or more years analytical experience, preferably in data mining, predictive analytics or agronomy
- 3 or more years of industry experience building advanced analytics models and machine learning products across one or more areas of Predictive/Prescriptive Analytics, Computer Vision and Image/Video Processing/Analytics, Natural Language Processing, Time Series Analysis will be an advantage
- Strong proficiency in data analytics programming languages and software

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $3,500.00 - $4,500.00 per month

- Monday to Friday

- Bachelor's or equivalent (preferred)
