Senior Finance Manager- Sea

Our client is a renowned and innovative Global Tech Services MNC. Singapore houses their SEA regional office, and they are currently seeking a high calibre Senior Finance Manager, Accounting Controllership SEA to be part of their Finance Leadership team.
Reporting to the APAC CFO, this role will lead and manage the output of an onsite team member and their regional finance shared services team.
SOME OF THE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE
- Managing the region’s financial close process, supporting weekly, monthly and year end closing process by working closely with the regional Finance teams, and managing the output of the offshored shared service center.
- Oversee and manage the consolidation process, intercompany eliminations and cashflow related activities for the group.
- Continuously structure, standardize and optimize financial processes and controls for the business and shared service center.
- Manage the setup of finance systems and processes to support insurance programs.
- Identify risks and improvement opportunities and recommend suitable solutions to management.
- And other related duties associated with the position.
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL REQUIRE
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with MBA/ACCA/CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Finance or Accounting with proven track record in people management.
- Shared Service Management experience is ideal.
- Demonstrate critical/strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities that can be actionable.
- Able to work with tight deadlines within dynamic international business.
- Effective written & verbal communication, leadership, presentation & mentoring skills.
