- We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated HR Manager to lead the HR department, with an emphasis on recruitment, talent management, and organizational culture development.
- Reporting to the Executive Director, you will oversee and drive the full spectrum of HR functions in ULC. In particular, you will design and lead ULC’s HR practices and objectives in an employee-oriented, values-driven, high-performance culture encompassing respect, collaboration, quality work, productivity, accountability and empowerment. You will also work with Department Heads to develop processes and metrics to support the attainment of our business goals.
- This is a very hands-on role, requiring ongoing learning and development of the team and driving the service delivery and implementation of HR initiatives.
**As the HR Lead For ULC, You Will**:
- Lead all HR management and development aspects in ULC, including selection and recruitment, training and development, talent management, succession planning, performance appraisals, benefits and compensation, discipline and coaching, and grievance management.
- Develop and implement HR policies, programs and systems while measuring metrics to attain business goals.
- Execute the entire recruitment cycle from monitoring each department’s resource requirements and budgets to reviewing job descriptions, advertisements, interviews, employee selection, contracting and onboarding.
- Review ULC’s talent management processes within each business function, including performance and potential management, resource planning and optimization, and succession planning.
- Partner with Directors and Managers to understand their HR requirements and get their buy-in on the corporate HR strategy.
- Keep up to date with employment laws and government support programs with regards to the Ministry of Manpower.
- To deliver and report on daily/quarterly/annual employee engagement surveys to ensure feedback from employees is collated and interpreted correctly to help improve employee engagement.
- Collate annual market research on salary data for salary benchmarking.
**Requirements**:
- At least 8 years of HR experience with strong proficiency in all HR functional areas (Singapore based), preferably with at least 3 years in a management role.
- Experience working in the education industry will be an added advantage.
- Proven track record in leading the delivery of HR functions to a high standard, in particular recruitment, talent management and organizational strategies in HR.
- Knowledge of the latest employment laws and government support programs with regard to the Ministry of Manpower.
- Strategic thinker and possessing excellent organizational as well as verbal and written communication skills
- Personal attributes of drive, resourcefulness, adaptability, resilience, discretion and loyalty.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Human Resources, Business, Social Sciences or related discipline.
- Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail.
