**Job Duties and Responsibilities**
- In charge of the Organisation safety standards, policies, and guidance documents
- Assist Management to review workplace process for continual improvement and promote a safety culture
- Coach and mentor WSHCs on safe and at-risk behaviours within organization
- Plan, develop and implement relevant HSE initiatives and training programs to internal staff/sub-contractors
- Identify compliance gaps in HSE requirements and implement sustainable abatement plans.
- Manage area hazard recognition and reporting program to include closure, visibility and feedback processes.
- Contractors management - Ensure all contractors comply to in house HSE policies
- Ensure at all times that fire safety requirements contained in the Emergency Response Plan are complied with
- Supervise the maintenance of all fire safety works in the premises
- Conduct fire drills for the occupants of the premises at least twice in every calendar year or on such occasion as may be directed by the Commissioner
- Train, coordinate and supervise by the Company Emergency Response Team for the premises in first-aid, fire-fighting and evacuation in the event of fire or other related emergencies
- Notify the Commissioner immediately upon the occurrence of any fire incident in the premises
- Carry out such other duties as the Commissioner may require
- Work with employer to implement SGSecure initiatives
- Be the POC between company and MOM during crises
