**Tasks and Responsibilities**
- Management of Health, Safety & Environment Department and take command of the Emergency Response Team at an incident scene.
- Develop a positive Health and Safety Culture throughout all company’s activities.
- Provide a proactive advisory service and update to company’s Directors and Managers on compliance to all HSE related legislations and to enable them to address HSE issues.
- Co-ordinating with Management, Owners, Contractors, and local government authorities on HSE matters.
- Ensuring company’s safety procedures are up to date and conforms to Singapore and International Standards.
- To implement, review and improve the Safety Management System, ISO45001 and ISO 14001 systems in the yard.
- To promote safety awareness amongst the workforce through trainings and other HSE activities in order to achieve accident-free and healthy work environment.
- Welfare of HSE department personnel and identification of training needs including continual appraisal of department personnel.
- Succession plan within the department.
- Assessment of consultants, suppliers, contractors.
- Document weekly and monthly HSE report.
- Integration of HSE MS.
- External Awards Application.
- Improve record keeping and maintain overall yard HSE Statistics.
- Prequalification Questionnaire - Clients.
- Generate, Control and monitor department budgets.
- Updating on all HSE issues.
- To implement HSE initiatives and campaigns for the work year.
- Conduct HSE Committee meetings.
- Initiate and conduct Management Safety Review.

**Job Requirements**
- 4-5 years of relevant experience in Marine industry, preferred Shipyard.
- Possess strong leadership & interpersonal skill and able to work under pressure.
- Good knowledge of Workplace Safety & Health Act & Subsidiary legislations.
- Knowledge of OHSAS 45001, ISO 14001 & SMS Audit system implementation.
- Knowledge on management skill.
- Computer literate & good presentation skill.
- FSM Certification & Hot Work Assessor Certification.

Job Title : HSE Assistant Manager

Basic Salary : SGD$5,000 - SGD$7,000

Allowance : NA

Work Location : Tuas Shipyard, Singapore
AWS : NA
Performance Bonus : Track Record of around 1.5 Months
Annual Leave : 12 Days AL
Medical : Medical Benefit Provided, verify w HR during interview on details.

Other Benefits : 1 way transportation to shipyard provided from various location, for example if you stay at tampines, they will have several pickup points in tampines, you will be informed of all this location and pick up point, then you will approach one and confirm that pick up point, shipyard will register your name into that pickup point, from then on, proceed to that pick-up point at the mention time and you will be transported to the shipyard.

Working Days/Hours : 5 days work week (Mon - Fri), 7.30am to 5.00pm

Nearest MRT : Tuas Crescent MRT (From Tuas Shipyard to MRT takes 5-7 mins on bus, 10-15mins on foot)
