**About you**:

- You have led and built high performing distributed software engineering teams
- You enjoy designing solution architectures that are scalable and robust to meet complexity and fast evolving business needs

**What you will be doing**:

- Grow a regional distributed engineering team through a good balance of leading by example and empowerment of team members
- Inspire a customer centric and value creation mindset
- Provide technical leadership across technical disciplines inclusive of Software Development, Quality Assurance, Data Management and DevSecOps
- Be an advocate for the right technology framework, DevSecOps and development practices to ensure our technology stack is aligned and stays ahead of our growth
- Work closely with Product Delivery and Technology Operations to ensure engineering efforts are aligned on delivering the highest level of impact to user experience
- Proactively seek areas of improvement across engineering processes, technology stack selection and team’s working experience

**What you possess**:

- Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent
- Experience working in a Fintech or Start-Up is advantageous
- Minimally 8 years or more of experience of leading engineering teams, with hands-on involvement, in building robust and scalable consumer and developer facing products and services
- Experience in building and scaling distributed software solutions across cloud based infrastructure (i.e., AWS, Azure, GCP), SaaS platforms (i.e., Salesforce, Temenos), API Management (i.e., Kong) and Data platforms (i.e., RedShift, BigQuery, Snowflake)
- Demonstrate understanding of how cybersecurity can be included into DevOps practices to promote a “Shift-Left” mindset
- Proven ability to manage multiple activities and develop working relationships
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and approach work methodically with attention to detail
- A strong passion to learn and to enable others to do better
