**Responsibilities**:
Job summary: primarily focus on pricing and yield management, and attending to daily commercial pricing activities under clear established guidelines

**Responsibilities**
- Handle day to day pricing, review and manage rate requests based on shipping lanes, volumes, market conditions
- perform yield management to ensure rate offers are competitive, and aligned with company guidelines
- Gather and review market information on market rates and services ensuring competitiveness in rate offers
- Identify opportunities to optimize pricing for key trade lanes and customer segments from volumes and revenue forecast collected
- Collaborate with sales team to support spot pricing inquiries based on customer profiles and volume commitments
- Ensure accuracy in rate input and system updates to avoid discrepancies between quoted and final agreed rate
- Involve in and understand all key components of the trade service P&L and know where to improve

**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Economics or equivalent
- Experience in shipping preferred but not mandatory
