The Regional/Country Manager will provide compliant oversight and management of the People Solutions teams covering the region. This position will actively lead in aligning and standardizing processes ensuring compliance mandates, supporting escalated issues and driving continuous improvement. Responsible for managing outsourced vendor services to ensure quality and achievement of SLAs. Creates a positive, productive experience for employees, managers and supporting HR functions (embedded HR, COEi and PAG) who seek assistance on a broad range of matters pertaining to People Solutions accountabilities (including but not limited to Payroll, Employee Lifecycle, Leave of Absence, Compensation & Benefit programs and HR Information System) and resolving Employee queries.

The Regional/Country Manager provides leadership, implement strategic direction and goals for the in-country TBS People Solutions delivery. Foster a team environment and a strong culture of customer service that will ensure program effectiveness and optimal service delivery in support of the People Solution model. This role projects confidence, professionalism and genuine concern for escalations or issues brought forward by team members and stakeholders.

**Scope**

The Regional/Country Lead will support all People Solutions operational accountabilities within the region, and partner to resolve escalations in a complex, unionized region with a high degree of customer satisfaction, expertise, and timeliness. This includes evaluating escalations, quickly analyzing the situation, root cause and determining the appropriate resolution, and communicating the resolution to original requestor and/or stakeholder.

Under your leadership the local team serves as a central point of contact to support HR transactions and provides advanced level support to support to HR, People manager and Employees. Management of our Regional/Country delivery solutions teams as the organization transforms to an end state, accountable for Employee Lifecycle Management and People Resource Hub in region where we have regional/local delivery. Identifying the right mix of local and central delivery models to ensure operational effectiveness but also statutory compliance and governance this role will play a significant role in determining the pace and scale of our transition and ongoing transformation across the region. Optimize and simplify processes where suitable to support the end state, ensuring best practices and controls are in place.

**Accountabilities**
**People Leadership**:

- Oversees and leads a team that administers all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including payroll processing, in compliance with company policies, regional and local regulations, while providing instruction, guidance and excellent customer service to our customers
- Coaches employees in order to retain and expand organizational talent through focused attention and effort
- Provides timely and constructive feedback on a regular basis to ensure employees have a clear understanding of their work, roles and the business
- Manages performance issues when necessary
- Works with employees on their career development plans
**HR Business Services Effectiveness**:

- Prepare for transition and ongoing transformation:

- Support the People Solution regional transformation lead in delivering the transition and ongoing transformation in line with agreed plan
- Provide critical review and best practice advice on in country activities and scope of potential additional transitions
- Identity opportunities for further scope to transition to TBS Hubs
- Identify opportunities for simplification, harmonization and transition of processes
- Partner closely with embedded HR, Center of Excellence and Innovation (COEi), PAG, and supporting functions such as Legal and Finance to improve processes and create an effective and efficient solution.
