Cirium is seeking a regional editor to manage Asia-Pacific coverage for its Dashboard premium news and analysis service.

The Dashboard editor Asia will be responsible for managing the output and career development of two regional reporters, in addition to producing their own stories, primarily in-depth analysis pieces.

The Dashboard’s areas of coverage span airlines' fleet and network strategies, aircraft manufacturing, MRO and air finance.

The role also requires an ability to work at a routinely high pace to deliver accurate, rounded industry coverage in a timely fashion. Good writing and networking skills are naturally required, along with a keen eye for detail and creativity in crafting original angles of coverage.

Data-journalism skills would be beneficial, as there is the opportunity to draw on Cirium’s fleet, schedule, and flight-tracking resources.

Key accountabilities/responsibilities:

- Manage two in-region reporters and oversee the editorial output of the Dashboard’s Asia-Pacific team
- Report on Asia-Pacific airlines and aerospace companies, in co-ordination with colleagues, and steer coverage of the region’s air finance sector
- Write in-depth analysis on topical themes and major news developments, and commission such pieces from reporters within team
- Represent Cirium’s Dashboard team at industry events
