Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and coordinate the daily operations of the dry bulk vessels, including loading and unloading of cargo, vessel routing, scheduling and voyage planning.
- Monitor vessel performance and ensure compliance with international maritime regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of vessel movements, cargo loading and unloading, and other relevant data.
- Liaise with charterers, port authorities, agents, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of cargo.
- Manage vessel budgets and ensure that all costs are properly accounted for.
- Develop and implement safety management plans and procedures to ensure the safety of crew, vessel, and cargo.
- Prepare and submit reports to senior management on vessel performance, safety, and budget.
- Provide support and guidance to junior staff, including deck officers, engineers, and crew members.
- Continuously evaluate and implement improvements to vessel operations to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

**Requirements**:

- At least 3 years of experience in managing and operating dry bulk vessels.
- Strong knowledge of international maritime regulations, safety management, and cargo operations.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
- A degree or diploma in marine transportation, logistics or a related field would be an advantage.
