Server Build Team Leader

**JOB SUMMARY**

The role entails leading the team responsible for the server build process in North America, and soon in all international regions. The primary objective is to ensure the team's productivity and meet service level agreements. Key responsibilities include monitoring process data to identify and resolve bottlenecks, managing the tracker of issues and collaborating with global infrastructure experts for resolutions. Close coordination with the Global Demand and Capacity Planning leader is crucial for effective production planning.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

Serve as the main contact for regional infrastructure leaders to address server build pipeline issues.

Consolidate and provide productivity KPIs to track performance metrics and identify bottlenecks.

Create status reports and presentations for management.

Represent the Global Server Build team in global calls when required.

Alert senior management about any deviations that may affect deliveries within the committed SLA.

Possess expertise in Windows and Linux server administration, Windows failover clustering, VMware infrastructure, and Active Directory.

Demonstrate experience in systems problem detection, prevention, and recovery.

Ensure system and infrastructure availability at the highest level proactively.

Proficiency in MS Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Familiarity with vRealize Automation and Orchestration.

Document and update procedures regularly.

Perform additional duties as assigned by the IT Infrastructure Manager.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

Bachelor's degree in computing or equivalent.

5 years of relevant experience.

Proficiency in documenting procedures and using tools like Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.

Knowledge of IT equipment and services.

Excellent team player with strong interpersonal skills.

Ability to thrive in a highly stressful environment.

Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

Project management skills and the drive to adapt to changes.
