Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Waiter Supervisor to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in supervising, training, and mentoring staff to deliver exceptional customer service.

  • Supervise, train, and mentor servers to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Assign duties and responsibilities to servers for each shift and monitor their performance.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff.
  • Address any disciplinary or performance issues promptly.
  • Ensure that guests receive high-quality service by training servers on proper etiquette and standards.
  • Create and manage work schedules for servers, taking into account peak dining times and staff availability.
  • Monitor and control inventory of dining supplies, such as tableware, linens, and condiments.
  • Ensure that the restaurant is adequately stocked with necessary items and place orders for replenishing supplies as needed.
  • Maintain open and effective communication with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth coordination between the front and back of the house.
  • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for servers.
  • Assist in monitoring and controlling labor costs, track sales and revenue, and report to management.
  • Manage cash handling and ensure accurate billing.
  • Foster a team-oriented work environment and lead by example.
  • Handle unexpected situations with efficiency and professionalism.
  • Complete administrative tasks, including payroll, timekeeping, and record-keeping.
