**Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to**:
The LNG Engineering Superintendent is a key member of the LNG Fleet Operations team based in Singapore and is the Technical Manager responsible for a number of assigned LNG vessels.

The role is responsible for day-to-day oversight of vessel performance and oversees the on-board technical team, providing engineering advice and performance management. The role coordinate’s maintenance/technical operation of the vessels to ensure alignment with operational excellence and commercial objectives and oversees annual budget adherence and participates as part of the management team in the development of budgets

The role ensures implementation of plans for maintaining vessel operational readiness and functional integrity, executing contracts and approval of the work of service companies. In addition, responsible for executing major overhaul and or shipyard projects together with the Fleet Technical team and leads both OPEX and capital expenditures (CAPEX) vessel projects involving multiple stakeholders.

The role also monitors and ensures safe operations in compliance with company procedures and regulations and effectively networks/liaises with internal and industry stakeholders to enhance vessel performance

The role strengthens marine engineering organizational capability across CSC and contributes to the delivery of strategic plans. Additional roles include providing legislative and advocacy support when required with industry bodies to promote safe and environmentally responsible operation of vessels.

**Desired Qualifications**
- Hold a Marine Engineering License as Chief Engineer or equivalent professional qualification
- Possess skills & knowledge relevant to managing LNG vessels as Chief Engineer
- Good communication skills
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills
- Ability to perform vessel inspections
- Working knowledge of marine practices, regulatory requirements and industry standards

**Relocation Options**:
Relocation will be considered within Chevron parameters.

**International Considerations**:
Position is expat eligible and based in Singapore.

Chevron participates in E-Verify in certain locations as required by law.
