Ltd. opens a position of **LNG Cargo Operator **to join our rapidly growing team in Singapore and take part in the company’s increasing presence in the global LNG marketplace. The position is to be a trusted partner to the LNG commercial team on operations-related questions and ensure smooth run of operations with minimized costs.

**Background:
**JSC Novatek **is the largest private owned gas company in Russia. Today it is the major shareholder of Yamal LNG project, Arctic LNG 2 and also is a shareholder and offtaker of the small-scale LNG plant in Vysotsk. The LNG production is expected to grow rapidly with upcoming LNG projects.

**Novatek Gas and Power Asia Pte. Ltd. **is the trading company for JSC Novatek’s LNG with fast growing LNG volume to trade and deliver that is looking at expanding its business in the downstream sector of the ever-growing LNG consumption centres.

**Main Responsibilities:
- Managing all aspects of cargo operations (cargoes mostly traded in European time zone) from trade inception, ADP, pre-delivery till post-delivery;
- Liaising with counterpart operators on cargo operational requirements as set out in contract e.g. nominations (ships, delivery window, demurrage etc.); vessel and terminal clearances; quality and quantity of delivery; pricing calculations, cargo invoices etc.
- Communicating with internal stakeholders for matters relating to cargo operations (legal, treasury, commercial, shipping)
- Reviewing clauses in LNG Master Sales Agreements’, Confirmation Notices and term sheets.
- Updating relevant trading system accurately and in a timely fashion to ensure accuracy for weekly reporting for HQ.
- Checking all calculations relating to the trade (product, inspectors, cargo, superintendents, gains/ losses, pricing, insurance, demurrage).
- Invoicing relevant parties for cargo, demurrage, rechargeable items
- Making or assisting in claims where necessary.
- Doing additional tasks as may be required
- Desk-bound environment

**Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above;
- 2+ years of background in commodity industry in Operations / Shipping (LNG would be a big advantage);
- Both fresh graduates and experienced industry professionals with the correct attitude and aptitude is welcome to apply
- Willing to work hard in a fast-moving environment with operations occurring in Europe time zone
- Strong communication skills and talent to manage expectations with respect shown to support functions and internal team members;
- A flexible team player who is willing to take initiative and self-starter;
- Fluent English is a must.
