**The Opportunity**

As a member of the Finance and Accounts team, you will report directly to the Finance and Accounting Manager. Your responsibilities will encompass, but are not limited to, the following areas:
**Customer Collections Management**
- Allocate collections in the accounting system according to various payment modes.
- Manage cash and cheque collections, including banking operations.

**Accounts Receivable Financial Transactions**
- Process daily financial transactions, including the issuance of invoices and debit/credit vouchers.
- Oversee transactions related to used car transfers, customer deposits, and voided receipts.
- Handle processing of customer refund vouchers efficiently.

**Collaboration with Operations**
- Liaise with operational staff regarding receivable matters such as invoicing and collections, providing necessary support and guidance.

**Currency Revaluation**
- Conduct system currency revaluation as part of the month-end closing process.

**Journal Preparation**
- Prepare and post monthly and quarterly receivable journals in line with month-end closing activities.

**Reconciliation Activities**
- Perform receivable and bank reconciliations at month-end.

**Reporting**
- Generate accounts receivable aging reports and analyze them by department for month-end closing.
- Compile quarterly and yearly consolidated financial packs along with tax package schedules.

**Stock Taking Participation**
- Participate in quarterly and annual stock takes as needed.

**Finance Transformation Initiatives**
- Engage in the implementation of new accounting systems.
- Take the initiative to support finance transformation projects.
- Assist with ad-hoc projects or other duties as assigned.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
- A capacity to manage ambiguity and maintain confidentiality is required.
