**Contract Period**: 3 years with option to extend for 2 yearsWorking hours: Shift work with Team work* Mondays to Fridays: 8.30am to 9.00pm* Saturdays to Sundays: 9.30am to 9.00pm* Service not required on gazetted public holidays* One (1) hour lunch and one (1) hour dinner break* Only one (1) receptionist shall be on duty at any one time during lunch and dinner breakScope of Services: 1) Managing of Enquiries Received1.1) Giving directions and information on Building to customers, patrons, members of public and corporate visitors1.2) The building is multi-tenanted. Being the first receiving point of all patrons, it is important that receptionist is able to give clear and correct directions to customers, patrons, members of public as well as corporate visitors and the various tenants located at the building1.3) First-time patrons or infrequent patrons of these libraries may not be familiar with the types of collections available in the respective libraries and floors. The receptionist is expected to accurately refer them to the right floor based on the collection the patrons are interested in.2) General Enquiries2.1) Receptionist may also receive general enquiries from customers, patrons, members of public and corporate visitors at the L1 Information Counter. The enquiries may cover topics like other branches, directions to nearby facilities etc. The receptionist should be able to accurately address the enquiries.3) Collection of legal deposit4) Acknowledgement of unsolicited gifts or donations5) Issuing of Security Access Card to access the POD and Visitors’ Briefing Room at Level 16) Assisting corporate visitors’ registration to Corporate Office using the VendorManagement System located at level 1 information counter, including replacement of visitor sticker labels7) Distribution of gifts to prize winners for held contests8) Franking of postal mails/packages for staff located at the building9) Locking and unlocking of tender box flaps before and after quotation/tendering period10) Other duties: Replenishment of brochures, umbrella shields etc.11) [Option] Delivery of physical newspapers to Corporate Office every Monday to Friday only12) The Employer may at no additional cost, assign additional services not specified in the Contract Period provided that they are deemed to be within the normal scope of a receptionist. The Receptionist will be given at least one (1) month’s notice of such additional services and shall be fully briefed by Employer on the additional services required.Qualification, Skill & Experience: 1) Presentable and Pleasant2) Able to speak fluent English and one other official vernacular languages (Singaporean Mandarin / Malay / Tamil)3) Basic proficiency in using Microsoft software such as Excel, Outlook, and Word
