The Media Team and wider DMC (Digital Marketing, Media and Dcommerce) team is critical to creating value from media investment through innovation, creativity, collaboration, strategic development and flawless execution of plans.

To achieve our business objectives we need to reach the right people as a priority by creating robust media strategies that enable holistic channel planning and facilitate authentic and relevant brand communications, in order to drive growth.
The Global Senior Media Manager in Singapore will drive global holistic communication strategy planning for Unilever’s global brands within Beauty & Wellbeing. The Global Media Manager will also help to oversee the work of the global media communications planning agency team based out of Singapore and India to drive implementation of robust, holistic communication planning frameworks and tools, tapping into relevant centres of excellence resource from the wider agency organisation.

The Global Senior Media Manager helps ensure that a brands core purpose is embedded into comms plans and strategies and ensures the right focus, channel and format choice and investment split aligned with key BU goals.

The Global Senior Media Manager will drive collaboration as one team, across the B&W global Business Group based in Singapore and B&W Business Units around the world, focusing on key project cells to drive excellent execution.

As the day-to-day go-to business partner for media expertise, this person is responsible for supporting the upskilling and media capability growth for the global B&W teams.
The Global Senior Media Manager reports to the Beauty & Wellbeing Global Media Lead, based in the UK. They will support the B&W Business Group brand teams, collaborating with global functional expertise within the Business group including CMI, e-commerce and PR/Influencers, and be a connection point for the community of media professionals in the regional Business Units.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Provide daily media expertise as the primary Media Business Partner to Global Brand teams based in Singapore, evolving communication channel plans for global brands.
- Land global comms strategies in line with key market goals through the BU based media network.
- Nurture the B&W Community with the regional BU DMC teams
- Support all priority events/activations of global brands across multiple markets by designing strategy and implementing media in line with B&W goals.
- Support B&W team with communications thought leadership to unlock incremental growth
- Ensure agency setup is fit for success and provide guidance so that agencies can achieve excellent standards of service and thought leadership.
- Constantly driving compliance of Media Golden Rules in key markets and cells to ensure growth
- Working with the broader media and marketing leadership to design and deliver capability and upskilling sessions for B&W team in Singapore & India
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in Media, Marketing and/or Digital experience required. Ideally should have media planning and/or strategy in depth experience & passion
- Background in media department within advertiser or with media partner or in media or digital agency preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to influence and negotiate with a broad range of global partners, internal stakeholders and agencies. This position is the face of Unilever media for B&W in Singapore so must have strong networking and skills & have the confidence to manage upwards
