Responsible for supporting specific functional / business areas in terms of information system needs
Roles and Responsibilities
- Produce claims business requirement for new product initiatives, system enhancement of Minor Claims, to work with AOS and IT to implement business processes for BAU processes.
- To participate in discussion with AOS and IT to ensure the requirement are clearly written and conveyed to the respective parties.
- Assist claims transformation projects to improve transaction output accuracy and TAT and staff productivity.
- Assist in managing working relationship with OSS SG Claims and ensure OSS transactions meet agreed SLA in accuracy, comprehensiveness and end to end TAT
- Improve claims handling processes by identifying areas of improvement.
- Advise on staff productivity and transaction efficiency.
- Attend to claims pender review, complaints and appeals as required by HOD.
- To review the User Acceptance Test (UAT) plan and scenarios prepared by AOS team.
- To prepare user training guide on the new products, system enhancement.
- Be the connecting bridge between AOS team, Technology team and business users.
Job Requirements
- Degree in any discipline (preferably in Statistics and Operation Efficiency major)
- Relevant professional studies - e.g. LOMA or insurance related equivalent
- 7 years of experience in managing life and health claims.
- Experience in working or managing offshore service hub of a Life & Health Insurer would be an advantage
- Good knowledge of hospital InPatient and Surgical process, admission and discharge procedure, medical care procedure, cancer care, and imaging procedures, medical record requisition process, bill settlement procedure
- Good supervisory and leadership skill
- Good interpersonal relationship skill as the role involves working closely with other SMEs.
