**Claims Operations Analyst**

Singapore

Supporting the regional Head of Claims, Head of Operations and claims management with operational needs and data requirements. Proactively deal with additional data analytics and administrative tasks as required. Support the successful implementation of critical business projects through effective analysis of complex business issues, providing solutions, whilst ensuring changes are effectively embedded into business operations. Ensuring regional claim KPI’s are met, claims portfolio metrics are maintained and strategic initiatives are implemented and monitored.

The claims team handle complex commercial claims across over 30 lines of business. Claims are multi-jurisdictional with clients across the APAC region and with claims occurring across the world.

What will your essential operations responsibilities include?
- Collaborating with other key leaders in the APAC region to develop and maintain timely and high-quality reporting and data that will support the wider business aims.
- Leading transformational and other projects, supporting the business by planning, developing and driving continuous improvement across the organization.
- Ensuring efficient and effective operating business processes, including the identification of risks, strengths and weaknesses, evaluation and implementation of operational improvements including service and quality.
- Development of robust business readiness, communication, training material, process documentation and procedural guidelines.
- Delivering rapid cycle change and improvements within strict timeframesManaging weekly APAC inventory, Control and Governance around Shared Services and Delegated Arrangements and other weekly control reports.
- Adhering to PMO claims governance frameworks including support of executive reporting.Regular reporting of claims portfolio metrics, KPIs and management information
- Servicing claims team with data requirements and operational requests from management.
- Regular reporting of claims portfolio metrics, KPIs and management information.
- Ensure that handlers are up to date on claims operational guidelines and claims are handled in accordance with Global Claims Handling Principles.
- Assisting with auditor data requests and related claims information.
- Working closely with other functions beyond claims such as finance, middle office and underwriting to assist with wider business needs related to claims information.

We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:

- Qualification: At least Degree level
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs; specifically Excel (including ability to manage if not write macros, perform vlookup, pivot), Outlook, Word, Powerpoint
- Proven ability in identifying and analysing problems, creating good solutions, deploying sound decision making skills.
- Ability to build effective working relationships (internally/externally)
- Demonstrable evidence of interpreting & manipulating data clearly and accurately with the ability to extract & clearly articulate key points
- Strong report writing skills, ability to develop and present ideas and reasoned arguments clearly and concisely to various audiences
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills, a confident and articulate presenter to internal/external audiences, exercising appropriate discretion in dealing with people from all levels of the Company
- Excellent attention to detail and a meticulous eye for identifying inconsistencies or inaccuracies in data entry or data outputs
- Able to organise self (and others if applicable) including effective scheduling, prioritisation and time management skills, completing tasks to tight deadlines. Demonstrates a ‘can do’ attitude
- Comfortable taking ownership for own work, identifying the need for action (using initiative) whilst working effectively within a team.
