Job Title:

Demurrage Analyst

Job Description:

The primary function of this role is to process and settle demurrage claims in a timely and efficient manner. This involves reviewing claims, verifying supporting documents, and communicating with relevant parties to resolve any discrepancies.

Responsibilities include performing demurrage calculations, ensuring compliance with contractual terms, and maintaining accurate records of claim submissions and payments.

This role also involves preparing regular reports on the status of demurrage claims, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes to optimize the claims settlement process.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business (or equivalent experience)
  • At least one year of experience in handling claims in oil and gas trading operations
  • Proficient in spreadsheet manipulation and data analysis
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
