Minimum qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 15 years of experience as an enterprise architect in either a cloud computing environment or equivalent experience in a customer-facing role
- Experience in cloud computing and cloud market and dynamics

Preferred qualifications:

- Experience with structured Enterprise Architecture practices, hybrid cloud deployments, and on-premise-to-cloud migration deployments/roadmaps
- Experience in enterprise technology buying and evaluation process
- Experience in building, architecting, designing/implementing highly distributed global cloud-based systems
- Knowledge of technology solutions and ability to learn, understand, and work quickly with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the cloud/IT technology space
- Ability to deliver results and work cross-functionally, engage/influence audiences, and identify expansion engagements

You liaise with the product marketing management and engineering teams to stay on top of industry trends and devise enhancements to Google Cloud products.

As part of the Partner Engineering organization, Industry Ecosystem Partner Architects lead cross-functional teams of experts to help our partners design, plan, implement, and govern enterprise cloud strategies.

As a Industry Ecosystem Partner Architect, you will embody executive-level qualities, facilitate the conversation, and direct the execution of the Partner Sales team by combining both technical vision and business insight. You will partner with Value Engineering to articulate the true total value of each technical solution and the overall business partnership with Google Cloud.

From startups building their first app to billion-user consumer companies crunching big data, the Google Cloud Platform gives developers and businesses the most advanced data and analytics solution on the market, along with Google's secure, high performance infrastructure. Our team of technical account managers and software engineers work with partners across all functions to develop solutions that harness Google's planet-wide platform to solve the world's most challenging problems.

**Responsibilities**:

- Leverage knowledge of industry challenges and drivers in various markets to represent Google Cloud’s industry solutions narrative with identified partners complementing the solutions and capabilities.
- Work with the field Industry Principal Architects and customer engineers to identify the priority solutions by market and industry. Work with the Independent Software Vendors (ISV) Partner Engineering team if required to bring components from the ISV ecosystem to complete the industry solution framework.
- Leverage technical architecture expertise to advise the Google Cloud practices within the partner organizations for building solutions.
- Engage with the executives along with the partner teams to influence the approach and shape the potential solution outcome.
- Provide advisor consultancy to the partners on Google's suite of products, portfolio, and future innovations and serves as a point of contact for strategic interactions on solutions and roadmap.
