**Direct Search Global is working with an international marine fuel testing company to fill the role of Sales Manager in their Singapore office.**

**Responsibilities**:
- Achieve personal sales targets in accordance with the agreed plan and performance standards, while meeting objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) as set by your supervisor.
- Maintain a high level of satisfaction among your accounts.
- Engage in regular communication with customers and be readily available to address inquiries, issues, and emergencies.
- Thoroughly prepare for customer meetings, tailoring content to optimize face-time with customers and conducting these meetings consistently.
- Ensure customer requests are handled appropriately and, when necessary, refer them to the relevant departments within the organization (e.g., technical, transportation, finance).
- Document customer visit reports and ensure customer information is kept up-to-date.
- Conduct contract negotiations and create agreements within authorized limits, prioritizing commercial interests to enhance both existing and new customer relationships.
- Collect market intelligence and customer information and provide these insights to your supervisor.
- Stay informed about the company services and relevant market developments to be a knowledgeable and authentic sales representative.
- Strengthen the local presence and reputation of the company’s brand.
- Follow up with customers on outstanding debt payments when requested.
- Participate in national and international sales meetings.
**Job Requirements**:
- A background in Chemistry, Laboratory Testing, Marine Engineering, or relevant sales experience is preferred.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding and knowledge of the markets in which the company operates.
- Possess a sound knowledge of direct competitors, including their strategies, strengths, and weaknesses.
- Essential qualities include resilience, self-motivation, results orientation, and a client-focused mindset.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Show proficiency in active listening and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate the ability to analyze the motivations of others.
- Exhibit strong skills in upselling and key account management.
