**We are looking for an ASEAN Regional Director to join our team in Singapore who would be focused on the ASEAN region.**
Today, Whatfix supports leading global and Australian organizations. We are a Series-D funded organization, having raised $140m to date, and have approximately 1,000 associates located in hubs across the globe.
Over the past two years, we have seen our customer base grow exponentially and our revenue growth in excess of 200%.
Whilst we are a market leader in the space, we acknowledge that we are a challenger in the space and are now actively recruiting a local ASEAN leader to help us establish and grow our business locally. **Your Role as the ASEAN Regional Leader**
As our ASEAN Regional Leader, you will own the revenue aspirations of Whatfix for the region.
You will have full accountability of building out the ASEAN GTM plan and will subsequently be responsible for revenue execution. This includes hiring key resources, coaching and mentoring them with a ‘customer at the center mindset’.
We are looking for a leader who has experience in establishing beachhead customers and understands the end-2-end sales process in a SaaS & Business Process context in an enterprise setting.
As part of the role, the sales leader will have day-2-day responsibilities that include:
- Building & executing a local GTM strategy designed for growth.
- A holistic plan that includes a partner and demand generation strategy.
- Local hiring
- Ensuring local team members are positioned for growth and success.
- Having an intimate understanding of the Whatfix business & product sets.
Success will be measured by exceeding mutually agreed revenue targets, breadth of team participation, length of tenure of team members and customer referenceability.

**Duties**:
- Build on Whatfix’s installed base & customer outcomes in the ASEAN region
- Create customer champions locally based on value-based outcomes
- Build a successful, energized local team that is curious to learn and eager to execute
- Ensure the current sales team is successfully enabled and independent in their role
- Institutionalize an agreed sales process and methodology to drive predictability
- Increase the current average deal size and grow net new and expansion revenue
- As the local face of the brand, you will need to be well-versed in digital adoption
- Be prepared to coach your team by showing them how to own sales cycles end-2-end
- Be comfortable in articulating value propositions tied to revenue, risk and cost
- Deliver predictably of quarterly forecasts which include
- Be able to present, do product demos, build customer proposals & own contracting.
- Ensure all relevant data is maintained in the CRM system including all close plans
**Requirements**:
- 10+ years of experience in sales (management) in a hyper-growth (tech) environment
- Must be curious, high energy and have excellent written & verbal skills
- A ‘street fighter’ mentality to win with the customer at the center of everything
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Enthusiasm about learning the Digital Adoption sales space
- Strong strategy, research, analysis, presentation and negotiation skills
- You have a track record of nurturing strong business relationships in the APAC
