**Senior Scrap Metal and Steel Products Trader, Physical Trading, Boutique Trading House**

Formative Search is privileged to be partnering with a boutique trading house in search for a Senior Scrap Metal Trader. The firm is trading predominately in hard commodities and looking to expand their suite of products trading into Scrap Metals and Steel products. Geographical coverage is within the Southeast Asia / Asia Pacific market.

In this exciting role, you are expected to run your own Scrap Metals trading desk, not just limited to scrap trading but also in other steel products (e.g., steel, carbon steel, cast iron, alloy steel). As an entrepreneurial trader, you are capable to function/work independently to negotiate with suppliers on terms of shipment and payments and enter trading transactions to yield P&L for the desk.

The trading house can support you operationally and financially in your trades, supported by robust financing lines. You will be offered a transparent percentage of P&L remuneration which commensurate according to performance and grant the incumbent trader autonomy for you to run your own desk.

**Requirements**:
You have at 5-8 years of experience entrepreneurial physical trading experience in Scrap Metals Trading/Steel products trading. A driven and ambitious individual, you are capable to rain make the deals to ensure your profitability and success of your desk. This role is based in Singapore.
